Art resources to keep your mind healthy

Doing weekly art based activities can decrease in feelings of anxiety and depression and give you a sense of engagement and social inclusion. Below you will find a selection of art based resources kindly donated by local artists and community groups to help keep your mind healthy. We have something for everyone, at all levels and expertise so try something new today from collage and painting, to colouring sheets and drumming.

Mindfully Creative downloadable resources

Arts Uplift CIC are offering a free Mindfully Creative downloadable resource which is on the Arts Uplift website www.artsuplift.co.uk/currentprojects 

In the booklet there are various creative activities to do if you are suffering from any mental health issues such as low mood, anxiety or depression. Activites include Mindful Photography by Ruth Davey, Handsewing for Mindfulness by Michelle Flint, drumming workshops by Samba Workshops, arts and crafts by Escape Arts and Spare Room Arts. There is something for all ages.
