Redditch Art Trail - July 2021

A free, outdoor public art trail across the town centre from the 1st to the 31st July 2021 - the trail will feature a whole host of work from local artists in some places you might not expect, so keep your eyes peeled!

The ‘Now We’re Talking with Art’ campaign aims to combine art, exercise and mental health whilst providing activities to keep your mind healthy along the way! If you need a little extra support we have that too!

Stay tuned for up-to-date information on the trail including speak peaks at artists involved and the trail route.

You can do the trail on your own, with friends or family (within the Government’s COVID rules) or if you don’t fancy the trail, why not take part in some of our art resources to support your mental wellbeing.

Are you a local artist?

We are also working with local artists who will be tasked with producing the art which will feature in the trails, with each piece focusing on a particular theme e.g. bereavement, stress, worry or body image. If you are interested in getting involved email: Katherine.wood4@nhs.net

Do you have a window or outdoor space in Redditch town centre?

We are looking for spaces for example shop windows to help fill the town with colour through installations, fine art, photography, craft, murals and more. Not only will this campaign increase awareness and improve mental wellbeing, but it will also increase footfall along the trail and help the local economy. It won’t cost a penny, but the artwork in your window could help save someone’s life who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts, or bring smiles to those who need to know they are not alone.
